Aloha, welcome to Kilo Books Hawaiʻi. In the Hawaiian language, Kilo, which means to observe is the central practice of our nature field activity guide books. Inspired by and made in Hawaiʻi, we provide families with young children an educational tool to connect with nature and the elements that sustain our lives. We value analog first over digital experiences and seek to build observational, experiential, and forecasting skills in children between the ages of three to ten years old.
Kilo Books Hawaiʻi Aims to Strengthen Family Bonds Through the Practice of Kilo.
Testimonials
Over the past 20 yrs I have had the opportunity to facilitate hundreds of enrichment programs for keiki. My recent collaboration with Kilo Books Hawaiʻi, has been by far, one of the most enjoyable! Kilo Books Hawaiʻi provided my program and students with custom, quality curriculum and instruction for a virtual, week-long, cultural, educational experience that exceeded our program expectations and captivated our students. Whether you are a parent, educator or Program Coordinator, if you are looking for a quality, teaching resource that incorporates ʻike Hawaiʻi and STEM, look no further than Kilo Books Hawaiʻi!
