My Rainforest Diorama brings the whole ʻohana (family) together igniting imagination, creativity, and collective experience to construct a mini Hawaiian Rainforest at home.
- Mamo (extinct)
- ʻŌhiʻa lehua
Furthermore, My Rainforest Diorama Kit aims to cultivate and grow the relationship between nature and language, particularly as it relates to Hawaii’s rainforests. We aim to increase nature vocabulary including the ability to identify and remember the unique names held by each living organism. Ultimately, we hope the diorama experience promotes the use of these names and words at home, at school, in nature, and hopefully in everyday conversation.
